Eve Of Poison are a powerful but always melodic rock band with a dark under current. They produce big sounding songs with memorable choruses and technical arrangements. “Tunes that take up residence in your skull, with or without invitation.” - RockSounds 2010. They draw inspiration from the world of rock and goth, bands ranging from Nightwish to Black Label Society. The songs are concise, catchy and have a wide appeal. Eve Of Poison are most at home on the stage where power and performance deliver an explosive and moving experience for the audience.
Eve Of Poison have just released their first two studio recorded tracks – ‘Dressed In Black’ and ‘Until I Die’. These were recorded and produced at the OutHouse Studios in Reading, Uk by John Mitchell who also produced artists such as ‘Funeral For A Friend’, ‘Enter Shikari’ and the ‘Architects’. The songs are currently being promoted to UK local radio and have already received air time at 1287AM Insanity, Acorn FM, Pure FM and Demon FM. The tracks plus promotional videos are available for viewing on You Tube.
Izabella has just completed a fantastic photo session with the well known photographer – Gareth Davis. Pictures are hot and available on the band’s website. Live gig dates will be announced shortly where the band will be performing new songs for the debut album, to be entitled ‘Until I Die’. The album is written and in demo form, all that is needed is the finance to record the remaining 10 songs.
Eve Of Poison was conceived in May 2008 by the two founding members: Izabella Clare – vocals and Rob Varley – Bass. They are the primary song writers and have been working together for many years in various other bands. John Mitchell the guitarist is from the well known band ‘Arena’ and has played with many artists including ‘It Bites’ for their tour 2009/2010. Russ King is a renowned session drummer. The band has a fantastic vibe both in the studio and on stage. They are professional, passionate and have clear goals.
Eve Of Poison seem capable of only producing commercial, powerful songs with a wide appeal – power with melody is the ethos. The plan: promote the two new songs, finish recording the album, take it on tour and establish the band as a major force in the rock world.
